The Charlotte Observer profiled an that is now on view in the college’s Van Every Gallery.
“August Rodin: Truth Form Life brings 22 works by Rodin to campus. The exhibition showcases the evolution of the master sculptor’s work—moving from classical sculpture to his signature rough, energetic style.

Two pieces in the exhibition connect directly to “Jean d’Aire Nude. A monumental head and maquette show how the sculpture progressed in its production.
The exhibition is on view through April 5.
