DRI for Historically Black Colleges and Universities
91ɬÂþ invites undergraduate students who are rising juniors or seniors from Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU) in our region to apply to participate in the 91ɬÂþ Research Initiative (DRI).
The 91ɬÂþ Research Initiative is a mentored undergraduate research training program held on the campus of 91ɬÂþ each summer. The program lasts for four to ten weeks (project dependent) from mid-May until early August. Participating students are paired with a 91ɬÂþ faculty member who will collaborate with and mentor them on an independent research project. Participants receive a stipend of $600 per week to support their housing and living expenses, and up to $1,000 for project-related supplies or travel. On campus housing is also available upon request at the same rates charged for 91ɬÂþ students.
